Günther Löschnigg
Günther Löschnigg is Professor at the Institute for Labour Law and Social Security Law at Karl-Franzens-University Graz and Professor of University Law at Johannes-Kepler-University Linz. In 1999/2000 he was head of the Law Department “Gewerkschaft der Privatangestellten Wien”, one of the largest labour unions in Austria. 2010 Günther Löschnigg was appointed to a visiting professorship at Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Tekirdağ, Turkey. He is also member of several editorial commitees of journals. Mentionable is particularly his long lasting membership in the editorial committee of the journal „Das Recht der Arbeit“, as well as his participation in the academic committee from UNILEX in “BUKO-Hochschulpolitische Informationen der Bundeskonferenz”. Since 2009 Günther Löschnigg is National Correspondent in the Editorial Board of the journal „European Labour Law Journal“ and member of the Scientific Comitee of the Slovenian law review „Podjetje in delo“ (Company and Law) and the Austrian journal „JusIT“. Günther Löschnigg is founder of the periodical held „International Labour Law Dialogue“.
